Compliance
Moving into your new or renovated home should be hassle-free and rewarding. On completion of your building project, we ensure the final Code of Compliance is granted and signed off by Auckland Council within six weeks of practical completion.
And the icing on the cake? Your new home is professionally cleaned from top to bottom. All you need to do is move in and start living in it!

A Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee protects you after the building process and for the next 10 years, providing much greater protection than either the Building Act or the Consumer Guarantees Act alone. Whatever happens in the future, your Halo Guarantee is there for a full 10 years following completion. It’s peace of mind, guaranteed.
Our post-build promise
Handing over the keys isn't the end of our relationship, it's the start of the next 12 months. From day one you'll have your own personalised maintenance schedule through our GTEE portal, and we check in with you in person at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months after you take possession, so small things get picked up early and nothing is left to chance.
Your 12-month visit brings it all together: a final walkthrough and written confirmation that everything has been resolved. It's part of how we build, providing the same care and communication after handover as during your project.

It goes well beyond the Building Act and Consumer Guarantees Act, safeguarding your home and investment for a full decade after completion. No matter what the future holds, Halo provides long-term peace of mind you can count on.
With Halo you’re covered for:
Loss of deposit
Non-completion, including remedial work
Materials and workmanship for two years after building work is complete
Structural defects for the next eight years from Guarantee Acceptance, including rot and fungal decay (weathertightness)
Up to 26 weeks alternative accommodation expenses while the house is being repaired
Automatically transferable when the home is sold, giving any new owners protection too
